James Bowskill is a British Art Director at A.C.O. Tokyo, where he develops brands on-line.

He also collects Japanese packaging, occasionally writes articles for Tokyo's web magazine PingMag, and is a member of London design team Superblue.

Take Off: "Ready to Go" Opens!! Feb 13 2006

After 4 months' art direction and design work, I'm very, very pleased to announce the launch of Toyota's new "Ready to Go" site at http://www.HybridSynergyDrive.com (launch via the white banner at the bottom of the page).

Packed full of live audio interviews with real Hybrid Synergy Drive owners, it's a breath of fresh air and a great addition to the Information Terminal site we opened last September.

So a big Japanese otsukaresamadesu! (thanks for your hard work!) to all those involved in bringing the project to life; the project planners and managers, interviewers, translators, writers, system engineers, sound artist and Flash designers. And of course to all those interviewees around the world. It's been a great project so far!
