Undulate Nov 04 2004
Takeshi Osawa and Yoshiko Anzu go a long way to stock their showroom in Tokyo's Meguro district - monthly trips to Holland, Belgium and America in fact. The couple run an interiors business from their apartment, sourcing and selling period pieces hand picked from markets and auctions around Europe and America.
Besides the great selection, one of the nicest things about Undulate is that when you call round to see their latest finds, you see them over a cup of home made herbal tea in their showroom/living room. Not only are they presenting the products, they're living with them too.
Their collection includes ornate tables and chairs, gilt mirrors, crucifixes and candlesticks, trophy animals and chandeliers. All clearly having come very far from Tokyo indeed. More can be seen at www.undulate61.net when it opens shortly.
